I'm by turns a silly fangirl and a silly regular girl. I'm a quarter of a century old and I'm not sure what I have to show for it except a few tattoos and lot of student loan payments. I have the ubiquitous BA in English (and I don't know what to do with it), but I wouldn't trade it for a more "practical" degree. I'm loyal and patient; I'm not a good secret-keeper. I love the color purple and The Color Purple. I published a poem once and was in the control room for a simulated landing on the Martian surface (even before Rover). I've worked at Disney World and as a motion picture projectionist. I'm a Democrat and a liberal, and I believe those things can be mutually exclusive. I've broken my left arm on my own and had my heart broken for me. I like to color, but I'm not an artist, and I love to sing even though I can't. If I won a million dollars tomorrow, I'd move to the UK and adopt a load of unwanted shelter animals. I'm Jessica, and it's nice to meet you :)
